I have an abundance of respect for people that come to counseling because I understand how vulnerable and strange it can feel. It takes a huge amount of courage to heal, and to work through issues that are uncomfortable, especially with people you don’t know at first. I became a counsellor and social worker because I have experienced my own trauma and I was fortunate enough to have some amazing counsellors to help me heal.
